For those who want to learn to dance
tango more intensively, P.W. Pulto is once again starting
a tango studio. The accent is on the participants’
self-motivation and the stimulation of their individual
creativity. In this way they gain a thorough insight into
the basic elements of the tango that will enable them to
go on to discover its unlimited potential.
P.W. Pulto’s basic principle is that in the tango the man and the woman play an equal part. This has far-reaching consequences for the couple’s interaction. Both the man and the woman can either lead or follow. As suggested by the Argentine dance theorist and tanguero Guillermo Bennici, a great deal of attention is also paid to the rhythm. The correct rhythmic articulation opens the door to a more creative interpretation of the music.
Anyone who has a penchant for hard work is welcome, whatever their level! You can even join in without a partner.
When: 10 lessons from 8 to 9.30 pm on Tuesdays
